Job Description:

Join a fast-paced inner city emergency department in Chicago for a 13-week travel contract. This role requires an experienced registered nurse ready to handle a busy caseload with approximately 100 patients daily, including many pediatric cases and asthma management. The shift is 12-hour nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with guaranteed hours and opportunities for float within similar departments, including ICU and inpatient units. Your primary responsibility will be efficiently managing acute care cases, assisting during high-volume hours, and adapting quickly to changing priorities. This assignment offers a dynamic environment that keeps you engaged and sharp, all while working in a vibrant, city setting.
