Job Description:

This respiratory therapist role involves disassembling, washing, rinsing, drying, and packaging respiratory equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained in top condition. You'll evaluate the effectiveness of patient respiratory care plans, demonstrating clinical judgment and technical expertise. Prepare and test respiratory therapy devices for safety and proper function, checking equipment on units and reporting any malfunctions. Accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, and equipment usage in the EMR is essential, along with precise charging. You'll complete assessments on ventilator and respiratory care patients, recommending timely interventions and further treatment if needed. Managing sleep therapy equipment and recording compliance are key parts of the role. Assist with cleaning respiratory equipment and stocking supplies as required. The position offers an engaging mix of equipment management, patient assessments, and compliance documentation—all in a busy, but rewarding, healthcare environment that values your technical skills and attention to detail. Job Specifics:

Location: Urbana, Illinois
Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
