Job Description:

Join a specialized CVOR team at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA, for a travel contract that offers the chance to work in two advanced OR suites on a 10-hour day shift. This role involves performing high-level cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, thoracotomy, endo AAA, valve replacement, and pacemaker placements. You'll work alongside a committed team of six staff members, maintaining a 1:1 patient-to-staff ratio while utilizing Meditech EMR. Scrubbing experience and skills in ACLS, BLS, and CVOR are essential, with an emphasis on flexibility, knowledge, and initiative. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to enhance your CVOR expertise in a vibrant cardiac surgery setting, with weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements ensuring engaging, varied workdays.
