Job Description:

This contract position is designed for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in the nuances of the Progressive Care Unit. You’ll be responsible for managing complex patient cases, often involving CRRT, Bipaps, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs independently. The role requires comfort with conducting own codes and handling consults without vascular access team support. The shift consists of 12-hour days, allowing you to focus deeply on patient care during each shift, with a typical weekly commitment of 36 hours. This assignment offers a chance to work in a setting that values autonomy and hands-on clinical expertise, while providing an opportunity to see how ICU-like responsibilities are managed in a PCU environment.
