Job Description:

Join a vibrant emergency department where you'll experience a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics. In this role, you'll take on a variety of critical responsibilities including managing medication drips, setting up chest tubes and art lines, assisting with trauma and code cases, and triage—an area requiring passing a hospital-specific triage test. The shift features 12-hour days, providing a balanced work schedule that allows you to immerse yourself fully in high-acuity scenarios while enjoying your time off. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a high-volume Level III trauma center known for its busy ED, caring for patients across multiple zones and handling complex cases such as stroke, cardiac emergencies, and behavioral health issues. You’ll work with the EPIC EMR system, and your expertise with pediatric emergency medicine, Point of Care Labs, and high-acuity patient management will be essential to success. Whether you're conducting triage, participating in trauma responses, or helping stabilize patients for transfer, your contributions will be critical in a hospital that’s recognized as one of the busiest EDs in the state, with a patient throughput of 200 to 250 per day.
