Job Description:

Join a 12-bed Stepdown Neuro unit that combines critical care and neuroscience principles at an intermediate level. You will care for patients transitioning from the Neuro ICU who have experienced neuro trauma, subarachnoid, intraventricular, or intracerebral hemorrhages, ENT patients post-tumor resection and flap reconstruction, post-operative spine patients, and a variety of neurological conditions. The patient ratio is 1:3, offering an engaging environment where your expertise can make a significant impact. This assignment involves working day shifts for 13 weeks, with every other weekend and holiday off. You can also request 40 hours off during the assignment. To succeed, you need BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications, along with Epic experience. Adherence to UVAs float policy and VA license submissions are required, with the possibility to submit with a pending VA license.
