Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiovascular ICU team as a CVICU Registered Nurse, where you'll focus on adult to geriatric patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures. This role involves managing patients with LVADS, balloon pumps, swan catheters, and other critical devices. You'll be responsible for titrating cardiac gtts, vasoactive medications, and sedation levels. The unit operates with a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, and a multidisciplinary team including an intensivist participates in daily rounds. The setting offers an engaging opportunity to hone your skills in a technology-driven environment with systems like Epic and Pyxis. Expect to work night shifts 3x12-hour shifts, providing ample time to explore the city after your shifts.
