Job Description:

Join a busy surgical oncology PCU unit in Columbus, Ohio, where your expertise will be key in managing a diverse caseload of adult and geriatric patients. This 12-hour night contract offers an engaging opportunity to work on a mixed acuity unit that handles oncologic surgeries, including breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and reconstructive procedures. Expect to focus on chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and managing oncologic emergencies, all while maintaining infection prevention protocols. The role involves self-scheduling, with orientation designed to get you comfortable on the floor swiftly, and ensures a robust experience in a fast-paced, surgical environment.
