Job Description:

Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital in Marquette, Michigan, for a travel RN position working night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. This role focuses on Medical/Surgical nursing within a unit catering to adult and geriatric patients (ages 18-125). You'll be providing critical support in a facility equipped with telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, and Dynamaps. The unit maintains patient ratios of approximately 5:1 to 6:1 and utilizes Cerner electronic health records. This assignment spotlights your critical thinking and decisiveness, often working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical/surgical nursing is preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree and certification in ACLS. The role offers a weekly guaranteed schedule of 36 hours, with rotating weekend shifts, and occasional float requirements to similar units.
