Job Description:

Join a challenging med-surg intermediate care unit in Wausau that specializes in heavy telemetry, ventilator management, and complex patient conditions such as sepsis, trauma, and stroke. Your role will involve managing critically ill patients, including those on ventilators and trachs, with a focus on stabilization and recovery. The shift is a 12-hour night rotation, offering a mix of day and night shifts, providing a unique opportunity to experience the tranquility of night work while maintaining a fast-paced environment that demands resilience and quick thinking. Be prepared to float to higher acuity units as needed, and utilize your advanced skills in charting systems like EPIC. This assignment offers a chance to work independently on a specialized unit that keeps nurses engaged with diverse and meaningful patient scenarios.

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin

Shift: 12-hour night shifts, variable 7AM-7:30PM or 7PM-7:30AM
