Job Description:

Join a fast-paced post-surgical care unit in Wausau, Wisconsin, where you'll be responsible for providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgery. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a 40-bed inpatient setting with a focus on pre and post-operative recovery. Expect to handle a mix of surgical cases, often with 10-15 new admissions daily, and support patients along their continuum of care. Your role will involve multitasking, prioritizing based on patient acuity, and collaborating with a skilled team—all while navigating Epic EMR and using medication scanning technology. This assignment is ideal for experienced Med Surg RNs with trauma level II experience who thrive in a high-energy environment, and who are comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift: 12 hour nights, variable days/times, including every other weekend and holidays
