Job Description:

This travel opportunity places you within a renowned Level II Trauma Center in Montgomery, Alabama, known for its impressive 492-bed capacity and dedicated specialized units including a Level III NICU and primary stroke center. As an RN circulating in the operating room, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of complex procedures such as open heart surgeries, CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, sternotomies, thoracoscopy, VATS, and ECMO support. The role emphasizes your expertise in trauma, neuro, vascular, ENT, orthopedics (with a focus on total joint cases), gynecology, urology, and robotics (including DaVinci XI). You'll be supported by a team led by experienced ORA staff, desk assistants, and charge nurses, all utilizing Cerner EMR and advanced equipment like Plum 360 pumps and Omnicell medication dispensers. The position offers a dynamic environment with scheduled orientation, a flexible weekend on-call schedule, and the chance to work with a dedicated team delivering high-level surgical care.
