Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU team that handles some of the most critical neurological cases, including acute stroke, post-neurosurgical recovery, and complex neurovascular management. This assignment offers a chance to work in a 24-bed unit where your skills in NIHSS, lumbar punctures, ventriculostomy, ICP management, and ventilator support will be essential daily. Responsibilities include floating between NSICU and SICU, managing arterial and central lines, cranial drains, and administering a range of IV medications such as sedation and vasopressors. You'll also be involved in temperature regulation using hypo- and hyperthermia protocols and providing care for patients undergoing CRRT. The setting is fast-paced and rewarding, with a focus on critically ill neuroscience patients, providing an opportunity to refine advanced ICU skills in a tertiary care environment.
