Job Description:

Join a dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team as a registered nurse specializing in NICU care. This assignment offers the chance to work in a Level 3 NICU caring for neonates of all gestational ages, including low birth weight and infants requiring advanced ventilatory support, nitric oxide therapy, or total body cooling. You will manage a variety of complex cases, including high-frequency ventilation and feeds/growers, supporting neonatal stability and recovery. The role involves hands-on procedures such as vent management, IV starts, chest tubes, and IV medication titration. Expect to work alongside neonatal physicians, nurse practitioners, and a team of support staff, including CNAs and RTs, in a well-equipped environment with an EPIC charting system. This engaging assignment is perfect for experienced NICU RNs eager to make a real difference in fragile little lives while experiencing a setting that values your skills and expertise. The shifts are flexible, with consideration for 36- or 48-hour contracts, mostly weekday work with minimal weekend rotation, and some on-call responsibilities during low census periods.
