Job Description:

Join the team as an Occupational Therapist and provide vital support to individuals in their own homes, primarily those aged 30 and above. In this unique role, you’ll be the primary Occupational Therapist for home health clients, working closely with a skilled nursing team and a physical therapist. Your days will consist of making approximately 1 to 4 visits per week, measuring and assessing your clients’ progress in a familiar and comfortable environment.

You’ll be equipped with computerized charting tools and EHR by Cerner, ensuring you have everything you need for accurate documentation right at your fingertips. Your schedule will offer a satisfying work-life balance, as you will work Monday to Friday during typical business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with some flexibility based on department needs) and will have your weekends free, allowing for ample time to explore the wonders of Chadron, Nebraska.

While your primary focus will be on home health, you may also have opportunities in the inpatient/outpatient settings at a critical access hospital. With a supportive team that meets weekly via Zoom, you will engage in constructive case conferences to ensure the best outcomes for your clients, and you'll be a valued member of the home care team that helps patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
