Job Description:

This RN position in MedSurg/Tele units offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts at a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital in Macon, Georgia. You will manage patients with conditions such as chest pain, COPD exacerbation, and post-operative care, often waiting in the emergency department for inpatient beds. Your responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, IV management, and patient assessments, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4-6. The role emphasizes strong clinical skills in trauma, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and discharge planning, providing an engaging experience for those ready to tackle a busy, fast-paced environment.
