Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac ICU unit as a registered nurse on a 12-hour night shift. This assignment offers the chance to work with complex post-operative open heart patients, including children with single ventricles, heart transplants, and heart failure. You will perform invasive cardiac monitoring such as CVP, ART, and RA lines, while gaining exposure to ECMO & CRRT procedures. The unit commonly manages patients on vasopressors and cardiac gtts, providing a rich experience in critical cardiac care. The role emphasizes hands-on patient management during night shifts, with a patient census typically around 21 in a 32-bed unit, where nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2.
