Job Description:

Join a vibrant L&D unit in Garden City, Kansas, where you will be supporting labor and delivery with a focus on couplet care and circulating in the operating room. This 13-week travel contract offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, providing an opportunity to experience a busy maternity ward with approximately 1.5 births daily. Expect to follow AWHONN guidelines, administer titrated drips like Pitocin, and utilize fetal monitoring systems such as GE OBIX. Your expertise in LDRP care, along with ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications, will be essential as you provide crucial support in an environment with 12 beds, including triage and postpartum spaces. The role involves collaborating with a dedicated team, including available surgical techs and in-house OB/neonatologists and anesthesiologists, with some on-call and floating responsibilities. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your specialty skills while working in a supportive setting that values professionalism and expertise.
