Job Description:

This 12-hour night shift offers an engaging opportunity for experienced med-surg RNs to work in a hospital setting in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The role involves providing essential nursing support during overnight hours, with a focus on patients undergoing ENT or orthopedic procedures, and occasionally caring for pediatric surgical patients. The assignment is unique for its floating requirements across various units, including Howard Young, Tomahawk, and Eagle River, allowing travelers to experience different aspects of acute care. The position includes scheduled floating, call-back duties, and weekend and holiday rotations, making it a well-rounded shift that keeps you on your toes. Charting is primarily done in EPIC, and adherence to vaccination policies during flu season is mandatory.
