Job Description:

Join a specialized Med Surg Intermediate Care unit in Wausau, WI, for a 13-week travel contract. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts, primarily caring for stable patients with complex needs such as ventilator management, Trach care, sepsis, trauma, and stroke. You'll float to higher acuity units as needed and manage a patient ratio of 4:1. The role demands resilience, independence, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to experience varied clinical scenarios. Expectations include charting in EPIC, adhering to strict policies, and demonstrating professional flexibility in a busy hospital setting.
