Job Description:

This specialized contract positions you in a Cardiac ICU (CVICU) unit, where you'll be supporting complex thoracic, vascular, and cardiac surgery patients recovering from procedures like open heart surgery, EVARs, and carotid interventions. Expect to monitor advanced life support devices such as Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO, while managing titratable drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and sedation. Your role involves interpreting telemetry strips, collaborating with ICU staff, and ensuring optimal patient stabilization. The setting offers a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact critically ill patients, all while working 12-hour night shifts in a dedicated ICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1.
