Job Description:
Join a facility as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilmington, NC. You will be working 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, providing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical conditions. This role entails managing insulin and heparin drips, administering wound care, and supporting patients with high-flow oxygen or short-term respiratory support like BiPAP. As part of the Inclement Weather Team, you will be prepared to work during storm, hurricane, or other catastrophic events. The assignment requires adherence to safety protocols including passing EKG testing prior to start and working holiday shifts. This is a perfect opportunity for nurses ready to take on a fast-paced Med/Surg environment with a focus on adult and elderly health, while experiencing a unique team approach to weather and emergency coverage.

Weekly Commitment: 36 hours
Profile: Med/Surg RN with at least 2 years of experience, EPIC proficiency, BCLS certification. Ability to work holidays, manage insulin and heparin drips, and pass EKG testing required. Certs in CPI and charge nurse experience are preferred. This role involves floating within the unit and to similar units, with a maximum of 7 days RTO allowed.
