Job Description:

Join a rewarding labor and delivery nursing contract where you'll perform fetal monitoring, manage medication titrations including oxytocin and magnesium, and assist with cervical dilation checks. This role involves overseeing labor management, assisting during cesarean sections as a circulating nurse, and providing recovery care in the PACU. You'll also handle peripheral line care, follow isolation precautions with PPE, and manage computerized documentation in EPIC. Expect a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 and participate in rapid response team activations. This assignment is perfect for a nurse with at least two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience, including basic to intermediate fetal monitoring skills, and previous travel experience is preferred. Scrubs are provided, and required certifications include BLS and NRP.
