Job Description:

Join a busy Level III trauma center in Yakima, Washington, as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department for a 13-week contract. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing critical care in one of the state's busiest EDs, known for managing high-acuity cases from neonates to geriatrics. Your role will involve managing complex trauma cases, triaging pediatric emergencies, administering medications via barcode scanning, setting up chest tubes, assisting with trauma and code situations, and overseeing blood product administration. While the shift is demanding, it offers a chance to work with a wide variety of patient types and utilize your skills in a bustling environment. Experience with Point of Care Labs, pediatric emergency medicine, and EPIC EMR is highly valued. This assignment is perfect for a seasoned ED nurse ready for a fast-paced, impactful experience.
