Job Description:

This pediatric speech-language pathology (SLP) contract offers a hands-on opportunity to work primarily with children in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. Expect a schedule of four 10-hour days, with a focus on evaluating and treating developmental delays, autism, and language disorders in young patients. The role involves traveling up to 32 miles to off-site locations once or twice weekly, providing a varied but rewarding experience. While most of your time will be dedicated to direct therapy and assessment, you'll also handle discharge planning, patient and family education, and coding evaluation data. This assignment is designed for a dedicated professional interested in making a tangible difference in pediatric rehabilitation, with no weekend, weekend on-call, or floating obligations. Be prepared to work with both children and their families, addressing complex needs and contributing to re-evaluations and Medicaid plan updates in a supportive environment.
