Job Description:

Join a busy tertiary care hospital in Rochester, NY, as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role offers a 12-hour rotating shift schedule—day and night shifts (0700-1900 and 1900-0700)—perfect for those who enjoy a lively pace. You'll work on a high-volume unit caring for CHF patients, post-implant device patients, and those with arrhythmias in a 26-bed space, or supporting general surgery cases including ostomies and reconstructive procedures in a 51-bed area. Charting in EPIC is required, and BLS certification is necessary. Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced settings with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 is essential. The hospital is known for its comprehensive care, with a total staff of 528, offering a resilient work environment and opportunities to float as needed. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in diverse and dynamic clinical environments.
