Job Description:

This ICU travel assignment takes place at a 14-bed unit within a regional hospital, where you'll step into a critical care environment focused on adult patients suffering from complex conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and cardiac issues. Expect to manage ventilators, titrate medications, and respond to rapid responses and code blues. Your days will involve working closely with respiratory therapists, unit staff, and specialists, often floating between ICU and med-surg units when census demands. The role offers a unique mix of high-acuity, fast-paced work with the opportunity to sharpen advanced critical care skills in a supportive setting. Expect to wear scrubs, follow hospital protocols, and utilize advanced equipment like bedside monitors and infusion pumps. This is a hands-on, fast-moving ICU experience that keeps you engaged and on your toes.
