Job Description:

Join us for an engaging respiratory therapy contract where you'll be vital in disassembling, washing, rinsing, drying, and packaging respiratory equipment. You'll evaluate the effectiveness of patient respiratory care according to care plans and demonstrate clinical judgment and technical skills that set the standard for respiratory care practice. Prepare and test respiratory therapy devices for safe operation, ensuring all equipment on units is functioning properly and reporting any malfunctions to the management team. Your role includes accurately charting on respiratory flow sheets within the EMR, performing assessments on ventilator patients, and analyzing blood gases. You'll assist in maintaining respiratory care equipment and stock supplies, providing timely interventions, and documenting procedures and patient responses. This assignment offers a hands-on opportunity to impact patient outcomes while working in a collaborative environment. Plus, you'll experience the unique rhythm of a large facility with nights filled with meaningful work and professional growth.

Location: Urbana, Illinois
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
