Job Description:

This travel RN position in a stepdown unit offers a chance to work in a 20-bed facility with a mix of private and semi-private rooms. You'll be responsible for caring for up to three patients with a wide variety of medical conditions, including respiratory issues, cardiac problems, neuro and surgical cases, and patients on ventilators or with complex drains and lines. The role involves managing multiple ICU-level skills such as trach care, ventilator management, and titratable drips like Cardene, Cardizem, and vasopressors. Shifts are 12 hours during nights, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. You'll work closely with charge nurses and house supervisors, and have two patient care techs supporting your workflow. This assignment is perfect if you thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring advanced ICU skills and enjoy being part of a team that manages critical patients in a stepdown setting.
