Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team in Yakima, Washington, for a rewarding travel nursing opportunity. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), offering a chance to gain specialized experience in a community hospital setting with 11 ICU beds. As an ICU nurse, you'll be responsible for managing patients with conditions like CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, and post-cath care, handling advanced equipment such as chest tubes, wound vacs, and femoral arterial sheaths. Your skills with blood product administration, drips like diltiazem and heparin, and monitoring complex patient responses will be essential. The role requires prior ICU experience of at least two years, and familiarity with EPIC EMR is beneficial.
