Job Description:

Join a compassionate team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the charming town of Omak, Washington. In this 13-week contract, you'll be responsible for supporting approximately 300 deliveries annually in a critical access hospital with 25 beds. Expect to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with a staffing plan typically maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, which may shift to 1:5 depending on daily admits and discharges. This role offers the opportunity to experience rural healthcare while enjoying beautiful outdoor activities nearby, including hiking, fishing, kayaking, and exploring Lake Omak. Your duties will focus on assisting with deliveries and postpartum care, with OB nurses managing postpartum patients when needed. The setting provides a close-knit atmosphere where your experience and adaptability will make a real difference.
