Job Description:

This surgical technologist role involves providing expert support during operating room procedures across a variety of specialties. You'll assist surgeons by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, managing instruments, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. The position also includes mentoring less experienced staff and students, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You'll have the opportunity to run Mayo stands independently, adapt to surgeon preferences, and participate in complex and routine procedures. Confidence, critical thinking, and calmness are essential as you respond to intraoperative changes and emergencies. Job Specifics:

Location: Peoria, Illinois
Shift: 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week
