Job Description:

This 12-hour night contract invites experienced registered nurses to step into a fast-paced surgical oncology and medical surgical unit focusing on post-operative and oncologic patient care. You'll be working on a busy, high-acuity floor that handles a variety of diagnoses, including breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary cancers, colorectal cancers, and reconstructive breast procedures. The role offers a chance to gain diverse clinical experience in an environment that emphasizes infection prevention, patient safety, and complex procedures like chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and cytokine therapy. Expect to collaborate closely with a skilled team, navigate electronic health records via EPIC, and adapt to dynamic scheduling that may blend day and night shifts, based on departmental needs.
