Job Description:

Join a reputable facility as a Rehab Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract working in a dedicated 10-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. In this role, you'll be the cornerstone of patient recovery, managing care for individuals across a broad age range—from young children to older adults—primarily focusing on adult and geriatric patients. Your day will involve providing both direct and indirect nursing care, utilizing your critical thinking skills to assess needs, create care plans, and evaluate progress. You'll have the opportunity to float to the MCU and Tele departments if needed, adding variety and flexibility to your shift. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of acute rehab experience, holding a valid CA-RN license, and be familiar with tools such as BLS, PALS, and ACLS. Your expertise will help ensure patients' physiological, psychological, and safety needs are met, working closely with physicians, peers, and support staff to deliver comprehensive, goal-oriented care. Expect a day shift from 07:00 to 19:00, with a focus on quality outcomes and compassionate patient engagement.
