Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you in a 36-bed stepdown/PCU setting, where you'll tackle diverse cases including trauma patients, lumbar drains, and those on continuous Bipap. Expect to manage patients with low-dose vasopressors, hyponatremia, emergency dialysis, Hyperkalemia, antifreeze ingestions, and home vents involving trachs. Your days will involve frequent neuro checks for stroke and craniotomy patients, sheath removals, and careful monitoring of patients on fentanyl drips or Precedex. This role offers a chance to hone your skills across a wide array of acute care situations, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1. It's an engaging environment that challenges your clinical judgment and provides a rewarding experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.
