Job Description:

Join a busy general surgery OR team on a day shift contract in Zanesville, Ohio. As an OR nurse, you'll be responsible for assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining sterile environments. The role involves working either 36 hours per week during weekday shifts from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., or four 10-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a rotating call schedule that includes weekends and holidays. A good sense of humor and flexibility will help you navigate the occasional staffing and census changes that influence the call rotation. You’ll also have opportunities to gain experience with robotic, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries, especially if you’re comfortable with Epic EMR. Active BLS and ACLS certifications are a must, and at least three years of recent OR experience is required to excel in this role.
