Job Description:

This ICU RN contract offers a chance to work with a dedicated team in a busy 20-bed unit. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend and every other holiday on call. You'll be floating to the Tele unit as needed, managing critically ill patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1, and surge plans that accommodate up to 3:1. Expect to utilize Cerner EMR and potentially engage in open heart surgery cases. The experience demands at least two years of ICU expertise, ACLS certification, and familiarity with advanced procedures like Impella. This assignment provides a dynamic experience handling complex cases while enjoying a structured schedule in a supportive environment.
