Job Description:
Join a 24-bed unit in Quincy, Illinois, where you'll work 12-hour day shifts as a travel healthcare professional. This role involves caring for patients with dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary issues, sepsis, and high oxygen needs, including those requiring IV drip medications such as dopamine, levophed, and heparin. The unit features an experienced educator who collaborates closely with staff, making it an excellent place to refine your skills. Expect a fast-paced environment typical of step-down units, with throughput that keeps you engaged. This assignment offers the opportunity to experience a vibrant healthcare setting while working up to every other weekend, with a commitment of 36 hours per week for 13 weeks. The hourly gross pay is approximately $2,274.16 for the duration of the contract.
