Job Description:

Join Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, for a travel RN position in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). As part of this contract, you'll work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts each week, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing critical care to surgical, vascular, and ICU patients. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a setting that handles a mix of high-acuity cases, including surgical and vascular patients, all in a supportive environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1. Candidates must have at least 2 years of ICU experience, hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIH (All AHA) certifications, and be comfortable floating within ICU units at facilities within 25 miles. The assignment is 13 weeks long, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and every other weekend off. Prepare to dress in navy scrubs and bring your expertise to a hospital recognized for excellence in cardiovascular and stroke care, all while working in a community known for its friendly atmosphere and southern charm.
