Job Description:

This contract position places you on a tele/ cardiac unit in Bismarck, North Dakota, where you'll be working 12-hour night shifts. As an experienced RN, you'll manage a patient load that includes adults and geriatrics with diverse cardiac and medical conditions, such as post-angiography, pacemakers, ETOH, Covid Bipap, and acute/chronic illnesses. Your responsibilities involve interpreting EKG strips, troubleshooting ventilators like Bipap and Trachs, and titrating drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro. The unit operates with a charge nurse on each shift who may take a light patient load, and you'll work alongside nurse aides and telemetry techs to deliver comprehensive care. This role offers the opportunity to navigate complex cases in a vibrant, fast-paced setting that blends technical skill with critical thinking. Additionally, your experience with Epic EMR and ability to read cardiac strips will be essential for success. Expect to support the team during high-acuity periods, handling both bedside needs and monitor readouts with confidence.
