Job Description:

This respiratory therapist contract position places you in a busy short-term acute care hospital located in St. Louis, MO. You'll be working primarily night shifts, providing advanced airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, ABG interpretation, and medication administration using EPIC charting. The assignment offers the chance to utilize your expertise with airway devices, suctioning, and mechanical ventilation, all while supporting a hospital with over 1,200 beds. Expect to handle high-acuity cases and work within a collaborative team environment that values your skills and adaptability. The unique aspect of this role is the focus on complex respiratory procedures and critical care support in a busy Level I trauma center, with an emphasis on procedural proficiency and clinical judgment.
