Job Description:

Join a busy ICU team in Arlington Heights for a 12-week travel assignment that puts your critical care skills to the test. You'll be working solo during 12-hour night shifts, from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., providing expert management in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit features three 12-bed modules with 4-6 RNs per mod, where your ability to hit the ground running and function independently will be essential. This role offers a chance to showcase your ICU experience, especially if you've previously worked in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers, and if you're comfortable navigating EPIC EMR (passing the test is required). You'll coordinate care with a small team but be prepared to operate largely autonomously, delivering care in a setting that challenges even seasoned professionals. The assignment includes active Illinois licensure, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, with bonus knowledge in IABP, CRRT, or EVD appreciated but not mandatory. Dress code is royal blue scrubs, and orientation involves six hours on the day shift to prepare you for the nights ahead.
