Job Description:

This occupation therapy contract places you in a fast-paced acute care setting, where you'll work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and medical diagnoses. Your role involves conducting evaluations, implementing treatment interventions, participating in team conferences, and utilizing modalities when appropriate. You'll need to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care. With access to advanced tools like UE Bioness and Dynavision, you'll have opportunities to apply your skills in a technically equipped environment. Expect a schedule of approximately 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with 1-2 weekends on duty, and an orientation tailored to familiarize you with the department's documentation systems and procedures.
