Job Description:

Join a well-equipped intensive care unit in Shelby, North Carolina, for a rewarding travel nursing opportunity. This 18-bed ICU is a Level 3 Trauma and Stroke Center, equipped with advanced technology such as EPIC EHR, Philips monitors, and Artic Sun cooling. Your role will involve managing critically ill patients with diagnoses like sepsis, stroke, pneumonia, and GI bleeds, utilizing your critical care assessment skills, vent care, central line management, and hemodynamic monitoring. The shift is a 12-hour day or night rotation with a supportive team that includes a charge nurse, RT, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7. Expect to work a consistent schedule every six weeks, with every other weekend rotation and participation in holiday coverage. The assignment offers an engaging environment where your critical thinking and hands-on skills will be essential in providing top-tier care in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork and professionalism.
