Job Description:

This contract opportunity as a Respiratory Therapist places you in the vibrant setting of Mercy Hospital Washington, working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. You'll be essential in setting up and operating devices such as mechanical ventilators and therapeutic gas systems, providing emergency interventions like external cardiac massage and assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The role involves maintaining accurate patient therapy charts and working closely within the EPIC electronic medical record system. With a focus on critical care, you'll deliver respiratory support to patients in intensive settings, requiring your expertise in pulmonary function, emergency response, and respiratory equipment.
