Job Description:

Join our dedicated team in Jackson, Mississippi, as a travel healthcare professional, where your role will focus on supporting patients through various gynecological processes. You will collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to facilitate chaperoned pelvic exams, ensuring patients feel at ease during their appointments. Your expertise will also be valuable in discussing abnormal lab results, such as pap smears and CA-125s, guiding patients with empathy and clarity.

In this rewarding position, you will triage patient phone calls related to postoperative inquiries, addressing concerns that arise more than two weeks after procedures like hysterectomies. Anticipate enacting your organizational skills while pre-educating patients about procedure requirements, ensuring timely and accurate completion of necessary paperwork for FMLA, short-term and long-term disability claims, and cancer policy applications.
