Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on the 4th Floor North Neuro Med Surg unit in Omaha, Nebraska, where every shift offers a chance to make a difference. As a registered nurse, you'll be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population, including stroke and neurological deficit cases, post-neurosurgery, and various Med Surg tele patients. This role involves managing medications like Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine, titrating PCA pumps, and responding swiftly to the fast-paced environment that often features multiple admissions and discharges daily. The unit emphasizes hourly rounding and responsiveness, requiring nurses to balance efficiency with compassionate care. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing stability and opportunity to develop clinical skills in a supportive setting that values teamwork, attendance, and cultural sensitivity.
