Job Description:

Join us in this engaging travel nursing opportunity as a Medical Surgical RN, where you'll be instrumental in caring for patients in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (3x12) supporting an average daily census of 22 patients. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in cardiac monitoring, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, respiratory, neurological, and orthopedic care, including managing surgical drains and operating telemetry for remote patient monitoring. You'll also be involved in preparing and managing complex medications like Heparin and Insulin, and handling critical procedures such as IV therapy and blood product administration. Every night, you’ll encounter diverse cases—from post-surgical recovery and trauma to complex medical conditions—making each shift both challenging and rewarding. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to refine your expertise in a Level I trauma center while enjoying the satisfaction of contributing to patient recovery in a bustling hospital environment.
