Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract at Mercy Hospital Springfield, working night shifts in the Surgical 3B unit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialized surgical team focused on GI, GU, ENT, and Urology procedures. As a nurse here, you'll be responsible for direct patient care activities, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring post-surgical patients. The environment is fast-paced but welcoming, and you'll work with advanced equipment such as telemetry and Alaris pumps. The position requires a calm demeanor, collaboration skills, and the ability to handle the unique challenges of trauma and surgery patients. Expect to float on a rotational basis and utilize your expertise in inpatient surgery settings. This assignment provides a chance to deepen your surgical nursing skills while experiencing a hospital recognized for excellence in safety and patient satisfaction.
