Job Description:

Join the team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Center for Perioperative Optimization (CPO) as a registered nurse supporting the Pre-Op Evaluation Center. You'll be responsible for making important pre-surgical phone calls, reviewing patient charts, and assisting during clinic sessions. Your day will include providing medication instructions for the day of surgery, coordinating care with providers via Optime in EPIC, and helping create or review after-visit summaries. This role offers a unique behind-the-scenes look into perioperative processes, giving you a chance to make a real difference in patient outcomes while working on-site in a supportive and organized environment. Your expertise will help ensure patients are prepared and informed for their procedures, all while enjoying a consistent 8-hour daytime schedule.

Job Specifics:

Location: Baltimore, MD
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Duration: Approximately 40 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks
